TOOL SHARPENING AND PRODUCTION FOR METALWORKING

One of metalworking lines, which allows significantly save on the expensive metal-cutting tools, it is sharpening. Using of special tool grinding machinery makes possible to restore the operational condition of mills and other cutting tools for CNC machines and to increase their resistance after resharpening.

Besides tool sharpering, such equipment allows to produce tools of different configuration for treatment of any material (constructional, unstainable metal, heat-resistant, aluminium, yellow metal, titanium, plastics).

At Alpha Centre metalworking sector we use for this purpose five-axis polishing machine S22P Michael Deckel and Walter Helitronic Power, equipped with modern electronic engineering, high-production driving ropes, equipment for changing of cup grinding wheel. Due to this, the machine has higher-production grinding and rapid regime of replacement of the machining tools. This equipment is suitable for professional regrinding as well as for the manufacture of any of precision instrument.

On the machines S22P Michael Deckel and Walter Helitronic Power we make grinding and production of such instrument as:

radial milling cutter
tapered mill
worm milling cutter
mushroom-shaped milling cutter
broach bit
usual boring tool and multiple-diameter drill.
